Several interesting ski areas are located near the apartment. The closest is Arrakis Ski Area, also known as Prkenný Důl, which is suitable for the whole family. Just below it is the Bret sports area, where children can enjoy winter activities while you relax in the local restaurant.

Arrakis offers 6 spacious slopes of different difficulty levels, served by 3 lifts. There is a ski school and rental service, plus a children's park behind Pension Zelený Mlýn. From the upper station you can access cross-country skiing routes towards Rýchory, Pomezní Boudy or Stachelberg.
Bret ski area - 2 km
The Bret sports and recreation area offers 2 regularly groomed slopes for experienced skiers and beginners. You can reach the top by a two-seat chairlift, poma lift or tow lift. Advanced skiers and snowboarders will appreciate evening skiing. A children's park, ski school, rental service and snowtubing are available.
Mladé Buky - 12.8 km
Mladé Buky offers pleasant skiing for families with children and skiers who prefer calmer slopes without crowds. You can ski on 5.1 km of groomed slopes served by 7 lifts and a three-seat chairlift. Evening skiing is available on illuminated slopes totalling 4.1 km. There is a snowpark, children's park, rental and ski service, ski school and a year-round bobsleigh track. Cross-country skiers can use 5 km of regularly groomed trails.
Černá Hora - 19.4 km
Černá Hora in Janské Lázně is part of SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA - PEC. One ski pass gives access to 50 km of slopes and the resorts are connected by ski buses. The area offers 17.5 km of slopes of all difficulty levels, an eight-seat gondola, chairlifts and tow lifts, evening skiing on the Protěž slope, ski school, rental and ski service. Families will appreciate LIVE park Formánky. Around the area, 55 km of cross-country trails are regularly groomed.
Velká Úpa - 24.8 km
The area offers skiing on 2.4 km of blue and red slopes served by a chairlift and tow lifts. Evening skiing is available on the Modřín slope. Ski school, rental and ski service are available, and children can try the LIVE park with a moving carpet. Around the area, 5 km of cross-country trails are regularly groomed.
Pec pod Sněžkou - 27.9 km
Pec pod Sněžkou offers 14.1 km of slopes of all difficulty levels, served by chairlifts and tow lifts. Evening skiing is available on the Javor slope. You can use the ski school, rental and ski service. Children have two LIVE parks with a moving carpet and children's lift, while snowboarders can try the snowpark and funpark. Around the area, 12 km of cross-country trails are regularly groomed.
